Meet Storm King, our first Stallion, one of the sweetest and most beautiful horses we have ever been around.  He was bred by Mary Graybeal of The Silver Feather Gypsy Horse Ranch. His mom is Silver Belle and his sire is my one of my favorite Stallions, the legendary "Royal" (notice the simailar build and markings, just like his dad.)  When he's not working with Brandon at Hahn Cutting Ranch he spends his days lingering with the llamas and playing tag with the herd dogs, Meeka & Pee Wee.  As a two year old, his heavy feather and mane are incredible! His trainer has no idea how Storm sees through all the forelock!  Storm has been tested to be Homozygous Tobiano and is available for very limited breedings in 2008.

SFG Storm King is the incomparable Silver Belle's first foal. He has inherited his mother's heavy feathering and wonderful conformation, including the refined, or "sweet," head so prized among Vanners. His sire is Gypsy Grace's Royal, a son of legendary sire The Old Black Horse, and Storm has inherited Royal's beautiful coloring and massive build. Storm has been handled daily since birth and is extremely manageable and kind. He was shown at the 2005 Ohio State Fair Gypsy Vanner Horse Show, which he handled with poise. At this show, his mother won Reserve Champion Mare, and Storm himself placed second in the two classes in which he was entered— Stallion under 2 Years Old (5 entries total) and Mare and Foal (6 entries total).
