Gail DeMarco - Owner of Black Jack Gypsy Horses 

 My ranch is in Cool, Ca about 45 minutes North of Sacramento and 1 1/2 hours south of Lake Tahoe.  I am a Professional Photographers by trade, and own a Photography studio in Sacramento that focuses on weddings, high-fashion and commercial jobs, and now of course Gypsy Horses...

We focus on quality, not quantity, so we select our horses very carefully with the big picture in mind, to breed for the "Proper Traditional Gypsy Cob Horse".

  I  (Gail) was shooting a wedding in Scotland when I  saw my first Gypsy Horse and that's when my life changed.  I have a passion for driving horses as well as photographing them. We have made wonderful friends with many of the Gypsy Breeders in England as well as the U.S. and because of them have learned so much about the breed.  We make it a point to go to Appleby and visit with them and it has really been a magical experience.  It's the highlight of our year.  We look forward to seeing all the gorgeous gentle gypsies as well as visiting the pubs.  I get to re-live it whenever I want through my photos and it's a great feeling.
