Duke is a beautiful blue and white gypsy cob proven stallion we brought over from the UK.  When we spotted Duke, there was just something about him; his sweet temperament, his pony sized head and his overall charisma.  We then went on to look at his foals and the rest as they say is history!  Duke is a fine example of a more refined gypsy cob with plenty of bone and feather but his offspring are what really set him aside from other studs.  Even when bred to heavy, traditional mares with a coarser head he manages to pass on his very best qualities and produce something that blows us away.  This is obviously a result of his phenomenal bloodlines:
Duke's Mother is a grey and white mare who was out of another grey and white mare who was by the Famous legendary stallion known as MOJO, a bay and white heavy horse, one of the best of his time.  Duke's Father is the one and only BLUE BOY, a grey and white stallion who is out of a grey mare and by a Bay stallion who was also by MOJO.  This is called 'line breeding', close enough to almost guarantee consistency in the quality of the horse but not too close. Duke has settled all of his mares first time and is a true charmer. However having said all that... Duke is not just a one trick pony, or a'Casenova,' he is absolutely our very best driving horse.  When playtime is over Duke knows his job and takes it very seriously.  Sensible, willing and easy to please it is no wonder Duke has pulled spectacular, highly valuable, gypsy dray carts when back in the U.K.
Because of my busy traveling schedule we don't do outside stud services at this time.

These photos were taken after Duke had his mane braided for the winter... but you can really see his GREAT conformation and sweet head with his mane pulled back.  New photos coming soon!!
